Flag Pole
We moved to this house in September 1983. We made sure that we had a flagpole in the yard before the official Flag Day the following year.
Because we'd installed a special light that shone on the flag at night, we used to fly the flag all the time. Then one day we were at a neighborhood gathering and the neighbors down back told us that the special light for the flag shone right into their bedroom. So we stopped flying the flag 24/7...
We do, however fly it on national holidays and special occasions. It is beautiful.
