Convallaria rosea (pink Lily-of-the-Valley)
The color in this picture is not true. The green of the leaves is much more like spring-green and not so olive... And the pink is much pinker.
This is just like the old-fashioned white lily-of-the-valley--it's just pink! It's a groundcover that likes a rich, woodsy soil and some shade or filtered shade, and it blooms reliably in late May and early June. It SPREADS, so don't plant them near a sidewalk or driveway as they'll fight to break right through! Determined little suckers...
That said, they are lovely to behold and they smell heavenly in the small bouquets you'll want to pick.
